AUTOCAD
AutoCAD is one of my strongest technical skills in design. After learning the program two years ago, I quickly became proficient and discovered a genuine passion for drafting. I have always enjoyed math and structured problem-solving, which naturally shaped my strengths in this area. I enjoy creating floor plans, elevations, and furniture blocks.

BATTLE-FRIEDMAN
HOUSE
Fall 2025
Each student was assigned an interior or exterior elevation of the Battle-Friedman Home. I was assigned the front exterior elevation. We were to replicate the original hand-drawn elevations, drawn by students in 1996, in AutoCAD. The mistakes made by the students in 1996 challenged me to collaborate with other students to compile and figure out the accurate dimensions.

FURNITURE BLOCKS
Summer 2025
During my summer internship with Ashley Gilbreath, I made AutoCAD furniture blocks to help the designers with the projects. Although this was my first time creating AutoCAD furniture blocks it was something I thoroughly enjoyed during my internship. It allowed me to get more familiar with certain furniture products and brands and understand the construction of the piece in more depth.

WINDOW ELEVATIONS
Fall 2025
During my Advanced Historic Design course, we were assigned to select ten historic homes from the Historic American Buildings Survey and develop detailed elevations and custom drapery designs for each. The project was introduced on the first day of class and due on the final day, encouraging us to consistently revisit the HABS website and study the original drawings throughout the semester. This ongoing exposure helped me become more familiar with historic homes, their architectural features, and traditional floor plan layouts. These are the ten elevations I created.
